A common casualty among the 4G63.
Due to the placement so close to the furnace that is the exhaust manifold, evos are known to cycle through cam sensors. A failing cam sensor is symptomatic of poor ignition timing and misfiring, loss of power and sputtering.
If you've done everything you can to diagnose a misfire or poor performance, this sensor is usually the last culprit.
